PURPOSE: A 2,2'-bipyridine derivative with reactive silyl group is provided to use as a transition metal complex ligand. CONSTITUTION: A 2,2'-bipyridine derivative with reactive silyl group is denoted by chemical formula 1. The 2,2'-bipyridine derivative with reactive silyl group is produced by reacting silicide compound of chemical formula 3(XSiR^1R^2R^3) with 5-matalo-2,2'-bipyridine derivative. The 2,2'-bipyridine derivative with reactive silyl group is also produced by reacting silicide of chemical formula 3 with 5,5'-dimetallo-2,2'-bipyridine derivative. A transition metal complex contains the 2.2'-bipyridine derivative having the reactive silyl group as a ligand. |
