PURPOSE: A parking apparatus of a transmission is provided to improve the durability of a parking cam by prevent the abrasion and deformation from being concentrated on a specific part of the parking cam. CONSTITUTION: In a device, a parking cam(3) includes a circular cone. A cam rod(5) is combined with the parking cam with passing through the central axis of the parking cam. A sprag is rotatable so that one end of the sprag is faced to the circular cone of the parking cam. A cam rod transfers the parking cam between the stoppers(6) by the shift force of a driver. A plurality of latch gears are included along the columnar direction of the parking cam. A latch spring is inserted into the groove formed in the cam rod.
