PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding method and device that prevents adjacent coils from easily interfering with each other due to an unwanted bulge portion generated in an edgewise bending portion in machining a straight angle conductor in edgewise bending: and to provide a stator.

SOLUTION: In the winding method of forming a coil 13 by machining the straight angle conductor 10 in edgewise bending, two adjacent edgewise bending portions 10a which are formed in machining the straight angle conductor 10 in edgewise bending are shaped so that the bulging portion P formed outward when the straight angle conductor 10 is machined in edgewise bending may be concentrated in one side positioned between the two portions and the pair of sides opposite to each other in the coil 13 is allowed to have the bulging portion P.
