<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer cartridge without the risk of erroneously attaching and detaching the developer cartridge which is not in a replacement position, when an image forming unit is removed. <P>SOLUTION: The developer cartridge 45 is configured so that the developer cartridge 45 is rotated so as to project at least a part of the developer cartridge 45 to the outside of a locus where a developing device body 5 is rotated, so that the developer cartridge 45 can be attached and detached to and from the developing device body 5 in a direction orthogonal to the rotating shaft of the developing device body 5. It is constituted so that in such a state that the image forming unit 21 is taken out, the attachment and detachment of the developer cartridge 45 which is not in the replacement position are blocked in such a manner that at least a part of the developer cartridge 45 is blocked in rotation by an operation blocking member provided outside the locus where the developing device body 5 of an image forming apparatus is rotated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
