PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening-closing valve having a boosting mechanism capable of stable boosting operation with a simple structure, in a boosting opening-closing valve having a valve stem for opening-closing a flow passage, an operation member positioned on the axis of this valve stem and relatively movable to this valve stem, and the boosting mechanism interposed between the valve stem and an operation member and boosting and transmitting a moving speed while reducing the speed of the operation member to the valve stem. SOLUTION: In this boosting opening-closing valve, the boosting mechanism includes a transmission rod 36 positioned in a shaft part of the operation member and having a diametrically contracting part for diametrically contracting toward the valve stem side, a pressing member linked with the valve stem, a pair of motion transmitting surfaces 33A oppositely formed to this pressing member and a housing for movably supporting this pressing member and narrowing an interval toward the outer periphery, and a plurality of radially moving bodies 43 interposed in contact between this pair of motion transmitting surfaces and the diametrically contracting part of the transmission rod.
