<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple-structured and lightweight tool support device capable of providing a superior working environment, and a work processing device using the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The tool support device comprises a linear motion mechanism 10 comprising a first base part 11, a linear motion part 12 to linearly move relative to the first base part 11 in such a way as can be positioned, and a first fixing part 13 which can fix the linear motion part 12 at an optionally selected position; a rotating mechanism 30 comprising a second base part connected to the linear motion part 12, a rotating part to rotate relative to the second base part in such a way as can be positioned, and a second fixing part which can fix the rotating part; and a telescopic mechanism 50 comprising a third base part connected to the rotating part, a telescopic part to extend/contract relative to the third base part in such a way as can be positioned, a third fixing part which can fix the telescoping part, and a tool support part 54 disposed at the distal end of the telescopic part.
