<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic membrane having further high ion conductivity, a usage thereof, and a fuel cell including the membrane. <P>SOLUTION: The electrolytic membrane includes an ion-conducting polymer which is fixed in pores of a porous polyalkene membrane stretched in at least one direction, wherein the polyalkene membrane has a porosity of 30-90% and a mean pore diameter of 0.1 to 5.0 μm. The electrolytic membrane has ion conductivity higher than a known membrane which is smaller in pore size than the electrolytic membrane and equivalent in thickness, porosity and strength thereto, and is suitable for use in solid-polymer fuel cells and batteries. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
