摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform regeneration control efficiently when climbing an upward slope after descending a downward slope. <P>SOLUTION: A control device of a hybrid vehicle is suitably used in a hybrid vehicle having an internal combustion engine, a motor generator, and a battery performing the transfer of power with the motor generator. Specifically, a regeneration torque calculation means calculates regeneration torque by the motor generator in descending a downward slope in the case of travelling on a travelling road climbing an upward slope immediately after descending a downward slope so that energy efficiency in travelling on the travelling road is optimized.
