<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication quality measuring method of a municipality digital broadcasting system, for efficiently measuring the communication quality between two stations. <P>SOLUTION: A certain station fetches information of two stations supplied for measurement and a measurement direction from an operator and issues a measurement start request to a master station using an up signaling channel. When the measurement start request is received, the master station determines whether or not to permit measurement on the basis of management information inside, and when permitting it, determines a slot to be supplied for the measurement, forms a measurement start instruction, and transmits it using a down signaling channel. The station which recognizes that the transmission origin of signals for the measurement is the present station by the received measurement instruction inserts the signal for the measurement to the instructed slot in an instructed direction by the measurement start instruction and transmits it. The station which recognizes that the transmission destination of signals for the measurement is the present station by the received measurement instruction measures the communication quality on the basis of the signals for the measurement inserted to the instructed slot in the instructed direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
