<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body motion sensor which is excellent in portability with a reduced load on a subject and easily and correctly detects a body motion. <P>SOLUTION: The body motion sensor 1 includes: a fixing part 2 to be attached to a fitting member 91 to be fitted to the subject 90; a deformation part 3 which is interposed between the body of the subject 90 and the fixing part 2 and more easily deformed in response to the body motion compared with the fixing part 2; a connection part 4 for elastically connecting the fixing part 2 to the deformation part 3; a sensor element 5 which is arranged in one of the fixing part 2 and the deformation part 3 and provided with a sensor body 50 wherein electric resistance is changed with elastic deformation, and an electrode connected to the sensor body 50 and outputting the electric resistance; and a projection 60 which is arranged in the other one of the fixing part 2 and the deformation part 3, and opposite to the sensor body 50, for pressing the sensor body 50 accompanying the body motion of the subject 90. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
