<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control apparatus capable of achieving a smooth motor rotation even in a voltage-saturated region. <P>SOLUTION: A voltage command maximum processor 31 estimates a maximum rotation angular velocity that may arise in a motor 12 on the basis of a q-axis current command value Iq*, and calculates a d-axis maximum voltage command value Vd_max and a q-axis maximum voltage command value Vq_max corresponding to the estimated maximum rotation angular velocity.
