METHOD OF MANUFACTURING HIGH CONCENTRATION SULFURIC ACID-CONTAINING SILICA GEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide silica gel for effectively clean-up-treating a sample containing PCB or dioxins and to provide a method for measuring PCB or dioxins with high precision using the same.

SOLUTION: Disclosed is: a method of manufacturing the high concentration sulfuric acid-containing silica gel by treating silica gel with 97-100% sulfuric acid; a pretreatment method for a sample in which the sample is treated with the high concentration sulfuric acid-containing silica gel obtained by the method; an environmental analysis method which uses the sample treated by the method; a packing material for chromatography which contains the high concentration sulfuric acid-containing silica gel; and a column for chromatography which is filled with the packing material.
