<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deflection correcting device capable of drive-controlling favorably an optical component to correct image blurring. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The deflection correcting device has the optical components 32b 46 provided movably, driving parts 48, 50 for driving the optical components in order to correct the image blurring, and a control part 75 for controlling the driving parts, to drive the optical components to a control center 112 side at the second velocity v2 slower than the first velocity v1 before the optical components reach the control center, after controlling the optical components to be driven to the control center side at the first velocity, by controlling the driving parts.
