<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of conveying a paper without bending it in a L shape or a U shape when conveying the paper from a paper receiving section inside a casing to a printing section. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The die sublimation printer 100 (image forming device) is equipped with a moving mechanism section 50 which moves the position of a pick-up roller 33 to a first position A for conveying the paper 200 received in the paper receiving section 80 inside the casing 10 and to a second position B for conveying the paper 200 toward the printing section 40 after the paper 200 received in the paper receiving section 80 is conveyed, and is constructed so that after the paper 200 is conveyed to an arrow Z1 direction side along a first conveyance path with the pick-up roller 33 situated at the first position A, the pick-up roller 33 is moved to the second position B, the paper 200 is moved to a second conveyance path and is conveyed to an arrow Z2 direction side and the paper 200 is thereby supplied to the printing section 40.
