<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut a semisolid article while preventing contamination. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A washing device 70 is equipped with: an approximately cylindrical receiving member 74 fitted to a container attachment 31; washing water nozzles 75a-75d with cylindrical spouts; and air nozzles 77a-77d with approximately rectangular spouts. After the semisolid article is cut, the receiving member 74 of the washing device 70 is fitted to the container attachment 31, and cutting blades 12 and feeding blades 13 are rotated in reverse directions to those assigned for cutting the semisolid article. At the same time as the rotations of the cutting blades 12 and the feeding blades 13, water is spouted from the discharging openings of the washing water nozzles 75a-75d, thereby removing the semisolid article adhering to the cutting blades 12, feeding blades 13, etc. Thereafter, air is blown from the emitting openings of the air nozzles 77a-77d, thereby blowing off semisolid article and water adhering to the cutting blades 12, feeding blades 13, etc. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
