<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is unpleasant and insanitary to directly touch a toilet bowl with a hand and is not likely to hold it, when using a western-style toilet bowl at hospitals, public places and a home toilet, where the toilet lid is opened/closed with itself held in hand and especially in ladies' toilet, the opening/closing of the toilet lid is requisite. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This handle for toilet lids is attached to the back face of the toilet lid, wherein a thin plate-like one end A is placed toward the edge part in the back face of a toilet lid, a point B, where a toilet seat and the lower part of the edge of the toilet lid comes into contact, extends along the curved shape of the toilet lid, a length D necessary for fixing the surface side of the edge part and a handle is bent to a point E, where comes into contact with the surface of the toilet, into a U shape, and F projecting laterally with respect to the toilet bowl as a handle part is defined as the other end. The point A in contact with the back face of the toilet lid, and the point B in contact with the toilet seat and the lower part of the edge part of the toilet lid support the lid, and the point E in contact with the surface of the toilet lid fixes the lid by applying a force from the opposite direction. This constitution can facilitate the attachment/detachment. The attachment of the toilet lid handle allow the smooth opening/closing of the toilet lid and prevents the hand from directly touching the toilet bowl so as to be sanitary.
