<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for managing resources according to an operation condition of each work application. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This work resource management method in a work management system having a plurality of public domains 1 composed of a public domain management server 21 and virtual resources, and a plurality of private domains 2 composed of a private domain management server 11, a real work server 10 for executing work, and a real storage 13 for storing data to be used in work, the private domain management server 11 notifies the public domains 1 of the existence of a surplus resource where the surplus resource exists, and the public domain management server 21 associates the surplus resource as a virtual resource, receives a resource providing request from the private domain management server 11, and notifies that the surplus resource corresponding to the virtual resource is lent to the private domain 2 being a requesting source.
