A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FLAME-RETARDANT PET FIBER

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing flame-retardant PET is provided to secure mechanical property of the fiber with good spinnability by restricting the temperature and a draw ratio etc in a manufacturing process of the flame-retardant PET. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing flame-retardant PET includes the following steps of: melting PET chips in which flame-retardant materials are included at a temperature of 275 ~ 285°C; spinning molten materials; cooling the spun fiber; drying the cooled fiber with an infrared heat heater; drawing the dried fiber at the predetermined temperature; and heat-processing the drawn fiber at the temperature of 145 ~ 155°C. The manufacturing method of the flame-retardant PET further includes a step for using a heater mode in a cooling step.
