PURPOSE: A safety apparatus for a flap gate is provided to prevent a water gate opened upwardly by water pressure from being collided with a wall of a waterway and to prevent a water gate from being rotated upwardly. CONSTITUTION: A safety apparatus for a flap gate(10) is composed of a bracket(110), a rotating bar(120), a hinge shaft(130), a link bar(140), and a support shaft(150). The bracket is installed at both sides in the front of a gate frame(20) of the flap gate. The rotating bar is formed to be rotatable by the bracket. The hinge shaft is formed at the front end of the rotating bar. The link bar is formed to be rotatable vertically by the hinge shaft. The support shaft is projected at both sides of a water gate(30) and is connected so that the front end of the link bar is rotatable. |
