PURPOSE: A noise reduction apparatus on transmission is provided to improve the smoothness and marketability of vehicles by reducing rattle noise generating in a manual transmission. CONSTITUTION: In a device, a vibration detection unit is installed at the transmission(1) and senses the vibration of transmission. A controller(5) increase the number of rotation of an engine(3) if vibration from the vibration detection unit is determined over the predetermined level. The vibration detection unit includes an acceleration sensor(9) mounted on the vibration detection unit mounted in a transmission case(7). A main damper spring of a clutch(11) is installed between the transmission and the engine. The controller watches whether the vibration of the transmission case exceeds the value of the fixed predetermined. |
