The invention relates to sports facilities for training mountain-skiers and snowboard skiers in gym halls. The inventive training method involves edging ski simulators or snowboard simulators by a sportsman and simulating the turn passage applying a force perpendicular to the longitudinal axis thereof towards the center of the simulated turn, measuring the value of the force which is produced by the sportsman on the ski or snowboard simulators and directed to the plane thereof, wherein the value of the force applied to the simulators is determined according to the value of the measured force applied by the sportsman to the simulators and of the edging angle thereof, which are interrelated by the following dependence: F= P sina, wherein F is a force applied to the simulators; a is the edging angle of the simulators; and P is the value of the measured force applied by the sportsman to the simulators. The training device comprises a base, the ski or snowboard simulators arranged on said base in such a way that they are movable in a direction of the longitudinal axis of the ski or snowboard simulators and can be edged by the sportsman, a power drive which is mechanically connected to the ski or snowboard simulators and a means which is used for measuring the edging angleof the ski or snowboard simulators and the output of which is connected to the first input of the control unit. The device also comprises a means which is used for measuring the sportsman's force perpendicularly directed to the plane of the simulators and is connected to the second input of the control unit. The invention increases the efficiency of a training processes.
