<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve power generating efficiency by maintaining strength of a separator itself and by increasing a contact area of an electrolyte-electrode assembly, as well as by controlling blow-by of reaction gas. <P>SOLUTION: The separator 38 is equipped with a pinching portion 100 pinching an electrolyte-electrode assembly 36 where a fuel gas passage 54 and an oxidant gas passage 68 are individually provided, a first and a second bridging portions 102, 104 coupled with the above pinching portion 100, a fuel gas supply portion 106 coupled with the first bridging portion 102, and an oxidant gas supply portion 108 coupled with the second bridging portion 104. The pinching portion 100 is equipped with a plurality of first projections 56 arranged zigzag along an extending direction of the first bridging portion 102 and projected toward a fuel gas passage 54 side at least and contacting an anode electrode 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
