摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly discharge evaporation fuel when a large amount of evaluation fuel is captured by an evaluation fuel capturing means without greatly damaging the fuel consumption of an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: When the value of a purge priority flag Fp is 1 (when evaporation fuel concentration is high, and a target purge rate is high), driving points on a purge priority operation line are adopted as the target operation points of an engine (S120, S140, S150). Thus, the absolute value of a suction pipe negative pressure is made larger than the case that operation points on a fuel consumption optimal operation line are adopted, so that the flow rate of purge gas to be discharged from a canister to a suction pipe can be increased. Meanwhile, when the value of the purge priority flag Fp is 0 (when evaporation fuel concentration is not within a high concentration region), since the necessity of the quick discharge of the evaporation fuel captured in the canister to the suction pipe is low, the operation points on the fuel consumption optimal operation line are adopted (S120, S130, S150).
