<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an LED unit excellent in practicality and economical efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the LED unit includes: the first step of arranging a plurality of metal plates in a spaced manner each other so as to be in a substantially annular shape or substantially C-shape as a whole; the second step of supporting LED chips on the surfaces of the metal plates to constitute LED elements; a third step of electrically connecting in a predetermined series order to the LED elements so that a loop of the electric connection is broken at least one place; a fourth step of molding and attaching a translucent member with electric insulation on the surfaces of the metal plates so that the rear surfaces of the metal plates are protruded; and a fifth step of molding and attaching a translucent member with electric insulation or a base member on the rear surfaces of the metal plates. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
