PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analysis apparatus and a dispensation accuracy verification method of the automatic analysis apparatus capable of reducing burdens on a workman verifying the dispensing performance of a dispensing device by evaluating the accuracy of the dispensing device by a simple technique. SOLUTION: In the automatic analysis apparatus 1 provided with a dispensing mechanism 18 or 19 for dispensing a sample or a reagent for analyzing the constituents of the sample by the reaction between the sample and the reagent, a photometric part 16 measures the intensity of light transmitting through a set amount of dye solution dispensed to a plurality of reaction containers 131 by the dispensing mechanism 18 or 19 to determine the evaluation absorbance of the dye solution for every set amount of dispensation and determines a ratio of the evaluation absorbance to a previously measured reference absorbance for every set amount of dispensation. An operation part 26 computes deviations on the basis of the difference between a maximum ratio and a minimum ratio and a mean ratio and determines whether the dispensation accuracy of the dispensing mechanism 18 or 19 lies within an allowable range on the basis of the deviations.
