PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a displacement actuator which is capable of efficiently increasing the displacement amount of a vibrating plate, without suppressing the displacement of the vibrating plate and to provide a liquid droplet discharge head provided with the displacement actuator and an image forming apparatus provided with the liquid droplet discharge head. SOLUTION: In the displacement actuator 25, piezoelectric elements (active elements) 2a and 2b are provided in at least one of the areas from the respective ends 23a and 23b to the nearest inflection points 21a and 21b of the vibrating plate 1 and the area from the inflection point 21a to the other inflection point 21b adjacent to the inflection point 21a of the vibrating plate, in the displacement cross-section in the short side direction of the vibrating plate.
