<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detection apparatus of an injection molding machine with which an optimal tolerance range is used even when load fluctuates due to grease supply. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The tolerance range is set to b1, one injection molding cycle is performed and whether continuous operation ends or not is determined. When the continuous operation ends, treatment is brought to an end and when the continuous operation does not end yet, whether grease is supplied or not is determined (SB1 to SB4). When grease is supplied, the tolerance range is set to b2 and when grease is not supplied, whether the tolerance range is b2 or not is determined. When the tolerance range is not b2, return to the step SB2 is performed and the treatment is continued. When the tolerance range is b2, tolerance range change-over determination treatment is performed (SB5 to SB7). After the treatment at a step SB7, whether change-over determination is yes or not is determined. When the change-over determination is yes, return to the step SB1 is performed, the tolerance range is changed over from b2 to b1 and cycle treatment is continued.
