<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warning device for a vehicle contributing to reduction in a collision accident by urging a driver and a pedestrian to pay attention. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A headlamp control means controls the irradiation range of a headlamp to be held with a distance equivalent to a stop distance corresponding to the vehicle speed of a vehicle since it is decided that there is the possibility of collision until a vehicle stops or the risk of collision is avoided, wherein when there exists a pedestrian who is likely to collide with the vehicle, the headlamp is not controlled to irradiate a specific object but controlled to be held with a distance equivalent to the stop distance corresponding to the vehicle speed of the vehicle. Thus, it is possible to urge a driver to pay attention without overlooking the existence of even a plurality of pedestrians, and to guide the driver to safety confirmation in a natural form, and to extremely reduce the possibility that the risk of collision or the like is induced.
