<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safekeeping device at home for preventing valuables from theft/fire. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A bottom part of a fire-resistant/waterproofed cylinder 1 is buried suitably deep in the ground under a floor and a top of the cylinder is arranged to face the underfloor surface. Then, a receiving disk 2 for placing a valuable-safe is provided on the top of the cylinder in such a way as to fall instantly into the cylinder bottom in fire or in operation error. Furthermore, a hidden lid 3 hard to be distinguished from a peripheral floor surface is provided with a lock on the floor surface at an appropriate distance from the cylinder 1. By unlocking the hidden lid 3, matching dial numbers of a dial lock, turning on an electric switch or the like, the receiving disk 2 reciprocates between the places in the cylinder and under the hidden lid.
