<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine that achieves superior vibration resistance and cooling performance without changing the shape of a laminated core and enables the miniaturization (reduction in layer thickness) of a lead portion. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The rotary electric machine includes a bowl-shaped flywheel having a plurality of magnets arranged on its inner peripheral surface and is rotated around a central shaft, a fixed core 2 which is so formed that the outer peripheral surfaces of a plurality of radially projecting magnetic poles 21 arranged on the inner peripheral side of the flywheel face the magnets, a plurality of coils 3 that are wound around the magnetic poles 21, respectively, and an annual connection holder 4 which is disposed to be radially closer to the center than the coils 3 on one end face of the fixed core 2 in the direction of the central shaft and carries out interconnection of respective wind-start wires 3a and wind-end wires 3b of the coils 3 and connection of an output lead wire.
