<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement type turbocharger capable of stably maintaining a supporting position of a nozzle vane even if respective members are thermally expanded regarding the variable displacement turbocharger equipped with the nozzle vane. <P>SOLUTION: A shroud plate 98 is fitted between an inner peripheral surface 94d of a nozzle plate 94 supporting the nozzle vane 96 and a sleeve 51f of a center housing 51b. The shroud plate 98 is formed of a material having a high linear expansion coefficient, and prevents rattling between the nozzle plate 94 and the center housing 51b when the respective members are thermally expanded. A half bead gasket 99 is held between the shroud plate 98 and the center housing 51b, and an energizing force from the half bead gasket 99 is imparted to the nozzle plate 94 through the shroud plate 98, and the nozzle side clearance can be suitably controlled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
