<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate signals for inspecting the performance of a mode S secondary surveillance radar in the case that signal convergence, superposition, and FRUIT interference have occurred. <P>SOLUTION: A mode S simulator includes: an airframe data storage part D2 for storing airframe data relating identifiers of an aircraft to be inspected present in an assumed state, the position of the aircraft, and information about transmission signals of the aircraft to one another; a responder retriever 136 for extracting, on the basis of the airframe data, information about transmission signals of an aircraft present at a position to which interrogation signals are transmitted when interrogation signals transmitted from a mode S secondary surveillance radar 2 to the aircraft are inputted and extracting information about transmission signals of the aircraft of an identifier included in the interrogation signals; and a response generator 137 for synchronizing signals generated on the basis of a plurality of pieces of extracted information about transmission signals and generating them as simulated signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
