<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic booster which does not disfigure a front view of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic booster includes an annular wide bent section 55 extending outward in a radial direction of a rear shell 2 toward the rear at a periphery end closer to a front shell 1 than each caulking section 53 of the rear shell 2, and therefore the annular wide bent section (shielding section) 55 prevents a cutting plane 51a of each caulking section 53 from being seen from the front of the vehicle. Furthermore, because an end 55a of the annular wide bent section 55 is directed toward the rear and therefore the annular wide bent section 55 cannot be seen from the front of the vehicle when a hood opens even if the cutting plane 51a or corners 55b of the end 55a are rusted, the pneumatic booster does not disfigure the front view of the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
