<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a compound cable which is superior in assembling performance into a housing of a crimping terminal and effective for attaining downsizing and low height. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The connector for the compound cable includes a plurality of crimping terminals connected respectively to a plurality of electric wires, a housing which installs the plurality of crimping terminals from a side part, and a case which insertion installs the crimping terminals while being installed on the housing. The crimping terminal includes a base portion, a contact portion toward the housing installation side from the base portion, and an engaging portion located at the rear of the contact portion, and includes a crimping part to crimp connect the core wire of the electric wire to the opposite side of the housing installation side from the base portion. The housing includes an engaged portion corresponding to the engaging portion provided in the crimping terminal at the side part of the housing, and is insertion installs on the case the engaging portion of the plurality of crimping terminals in the state engaged respectively with the plurality of engaged portions provided at the side part of the housing.
