Provided is a synchronous electric motor drive system which achieves low vibration and low noise at the same time as high output power. Inverters (101,102,103) which convert a DC current to three-phase AC current, an electrical conduction controller (52) which controls the operation of the three-phase inverters, and a synchronous electric motor (41) driven by a plurality of three-phase AC currents supplied from the plurality of three-phase inverters are provided. The synchronous electric motor (41) has three-phase winding groups (200a-c) which receive the supplies of three-phase AC currents. The electrical conduction controller (52) determines the current phase angle and the amount of current of the three-phase AC current which is output for each inverter individually. Each three-phase inverter supplies three-phase AC currents to the three-phase winding groups, each of which has a different current phase and amount of current determined by the electrical conduction controller (52).
