The longitudinally welded multilayer pipe has a fixed, pressure-resistant top layer (1) and a thin, corrosion resistant inner layer (2). The multilayer pipe is made up of metal, particularly steel. The inner layer is permanently fixed with the top layer. The inner layer is connected with the top layer by gluing ply. The gluing ply consists of an epoxy resin glue or phenolic resin glue which is hardened under thermal effects. The top layer is made up of carbon steel and the inner layer is made up of ferrous metal, a metallic non-ferrous material or stainless steel. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing longitudinally welded multilayer pipe.
