PURPOSE: A device for editing photo data and a method thereof are provided to re-create photo data in various methods. CONSTITUTION: Photo data are displayed on a display area, and the touch region is a touch screen. A command for selecting the specific parts in the photo data is inputted(220). A coordinate value for the certain selected portion is extracted(230). When a user touches a certain point on the touch screen, the coordinate value corresponding to the point is extracted. The second data are generated by setting up the certain region including the coordinate value(240).
