<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverted-pendulum mobile body that prevents a rider from being forced to suddenly change his/her forward-looking orientation upon a steep turn to cause no discomfort to the rider. <P>SOLUTION: A wheel support frame 12 supporting running wheels 10L and 10R, and a body 14 having a riding part on which a user steps, are connected to each other so that they are relatively rotatable about a vertical-shaft line, and a yawing-axis electric motor 58 is provided which drives the body 14 so that the body 14 rotates about the vertical-shaft line relative to the wheel support frame 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
