<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leaking-out of oil to an external part, by making air enter between inner-outer lips, in a seal member of a piston type damper sealed with viscous fluid such as oil. <P>SOLUTION: This seal member includes an inside lip 72 positioned on the innermost side of a cylinder and projecting in an annular shape in the axial direction of a piston rod, an outside lip 73 positioned separately from the inside lip 72, positioned on the opening end part side of the cylinder and projecting in an annular shape in the axial direction of the piston rod, and at least one slit 74 communicating toward an outer peripheral surface of a seal member 70 from a through-hole 71 by cutting out a part of the outside lip 73, on an inner peripheral surface of the through-hole 71 of the seal member 70. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
