<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce components in a system to the required minimum number, and to efficiently perform package APC control of a plurality of channels when parallel optical transmission of the plurality of channels is attained in one direction optical transmission. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical transmission system 100, in which a plurality of optical transmission paths 104a-104n formed by optical transmitters 101a-101n, and optical receivers 102a-102n are provided in parallel, a serial interface 103a and a serial interface 103b connected by a serial bus 105 are included, and the output intensity of the optical signals of the optical transmitters 101a-101n is adjusted from the outside, based on the intensity information acquired by the serial interface 103a, by communication processing for acquiring the intensity information of an optical signal between the serial interface 103a and the serial interface 103b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
