<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planting apparatus having multifunctional protrusions which are fixed to a root-proofing layer for swing prevention of soil of a soil layer, engagement of a windbreak net, and promotion of stretches of roots, and facilitating engagement of the many multifunctional protrusions with a water supply and drainage base, and so on, having a low cost, and excellent in a plant raising function. <P>SOLUTION: This planting apparatus includes a waterproof layer set on a groundwork, a root-proofing layer, a water retaining-protecting sheet formed on the root-proofing layer, a water supply and drainage base which is set on the water retaining-protecting sheet, supplies retained water to the root part of plants, and supports by grasping laminated soil, and multifunctional protrusions which fix the water supply and drainage base to the groundwork, and are fixed to a root-proofing layer for swing prevention of soil of a soil layer, engagement of a windbreak net, and promotion of stretches of roots.
