摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a friction without causing delay in starting of an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid drive electric vehicle has the internal combustion engine 1, an electric motor 2, and a clutch 3. The electric motor 2 performs cranking of the internal combustion engine 1 through the clutch 3, so that the internal combustion engine 1 is started. This estimation device for the engine friction engages the clutch 3 in the state where the electric motor 2 rotates, and estimates a friction torque of the internal combustion engine based on power consumption of the electric motor in a half-clutch state before the clutch 3 is engaged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
