<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To artificially introduce microorganisms effective for wastewater treatment into activated sludge to stably maintain and fix them, and perform wastewater treatment using the obtained activated sludge. <P>SOLUTION: A method for introducing effective microorganism to activated sludge comprises: the process A of treating the activated sludge with enzymes; the process B of adding at least the effective microorganisms to the activated sludge obtained by the process A; and the process C of treating the activated sludge with ultrasonic waves.
