POWER TRANSMISSION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device suppressing generation of an impact torque at the time of parking release even in a situation where a vehicle weight acts on a drive system when the power transmission device is equipped with a power transmission mechanism for transmitting at least either power of an input shaft or power of a rotary electric shaft to a drive shaft. SOLUTION: The power transmission device comprises: the input shaft 5 for transmitting power to/from a first drive source 1 as a drive source of a vehicle; a rotating electric shaft 45 to which a rotor 26 of a rotating electric machine 9 as the drive source different from the first drive source is connected; and a power transmission mechanism 7 for transmitting at least either power of the input shaft or power of the rotating electric shaft to the drive shaft 43 of the vehicle. Transmission of power between the rotor and the power transmission mechanism is performed by a rotating member 46 of a rotating electric shaft which is connected to one side of the rotor in a shaft direction of the rotating electric shaft, and meshes with the power transmission mechanism. A parking gear 51 is formed at the opposite end of a side in which the rotating member of the rotating electric shaft is provided out of both ends in the shaft direction of the rotor.
