PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain external output display of a display screen, at low cost. SOLUTION: Cellular phones 100 and 120 have the two of a normal mode and an external image data signal input mode as operation modes. When the cellular phone 120 is connected to an external data interface part 105 in the normal mode, the image data processing part 103 of the cellular phone 100 causes a display 104 to display a first image, corresponding to first image data and also outputs second image data to the cellular phone 120. When the cellular phone 100 is connected to an external data interface part 125 in the external image data signal input mode, the image data processing part 123 of the cellular phone 120 causes a display 124 to display a second image, according to second image data received by the external data interface part 125.
