<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device capable of certainly preventing rising of a pressure of a pressure chamber divided to both sides of a piston when the piston reaches to a stroke end and of eliminating the need to upsize the device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A communication passage 9 is provided on the piston 8 and valve members 10a, 10b for opening/closing the communication passage 9 and communicating the communication passage 9 when solenoids 15a, 15b are in the excitation state are provided. When the piston 8 reaches to the stroke end, the solenoids 15a, 15b are energized through a rod 1 and a cylinder 3 and becomes in the excitation state, and the valve members 10a, 10b are moved to communicate the communication passage 9.
