PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an active balun circuit so that the circuit has a small configuration easily to be made into a MMIC. SOLUTION: The circuit has: a first amplifier circuit having an N-type field effect transistor which amplifies one of balanced inputs and takes out a signal having a phase rotated by 180 degrees; a second amplifier circuit having a P-type field effect transistor which amplifies the other balanced input and takes out a signal of the same phase; and a synthesis circuit which synthesizes the output signals of the first and second amplifier circuits and takes it out as an imbalanced output.
