METHOD FOR DETECTION OF PAECILOMYCES VARIOTII

Disclosed is a method for detecting Paecilomyces variotii.  In the method, Paecilomyces variotii is identified by using a nucleic acid represented by any one of the following nucleotide sequences (a) and (b): (a) a partial nucleotide sequence of ß-tubulin gene, which is depicted in any one of SEQ ID NO:1 to SEQ ID NO:4 and SEQ ID NO:22 to SEQ ID NO:33, or a sequence complementary to the partial nucleotide sequence; and (b) a nucleotide sequence which has the deletion, substitution or addition of one or several nucleotides in a nucleotide sequence depicted in any one of SEQ ID NO:1 to SEQ ID NO:4 and SEQ ID NO:22 to SEQ ID NO:33 and can be used for the detection of Paecilomyces variotii, or a sequence complementary to the nucleotide sequence.
