Each staple (2) constituted of a metallic material and arranged side by side is bonded to the adjoining ones with a coating material (3a) and (3b) comprising a styrene/butadiene rubber as a major component, whereby bonded staples (1) are formed.  The bonding is conducted with the coating material (3a) and (3b), which contains none of vinyl chloride resins and the like (halogen compounds) as a component, and bonded fasteners (a representative example thereof is bonded staples) effective in reducing environmental burden can be provided.
