<p>The present invention relates to markers for prostate cancer. In particular, the invention relates to the identification of novel fusions between ETS family genes, particularly ETVl, and the ACSL3 gene. Such fusion genes and their expression products can be used as diagnostic and prognostic markers for prostate cancer and as clinical targets for the treatment of prostate cancer.</p>
